Hi Jack,

Anyway, once again thanks for the LT rental and sharing your passion about bikes, it rekindled a fire that I had let die out several years ago.  Having a bike again brings back so many great memories.

FYI, I ended up buying a 2010 K1300GT.  Yeah, I know, you like the Concourse better :)  I just couldn't resist a BMW and the ESA II is pretty sweet.

I demoed a K1300S and R1200RT.  The K1300S was crazy - super fun bike, but absolutely no way I could go two-up on that.  It was hard enough to hold onto by myself, with Halicia on the back I am not sure how I would ever keep the front wheel on the ground :)

I came really close to getting the R1200RT, it handled so nicely and is a really unique bike.  But once you get a taste of that K1300 torque, it is hard to look back.  I realize that if I owned a K1300S the GT would just seem like a watered down version - but for two-up it is great, and it ain't too bad for solo rides.      At some point I might just end up getting a CBR1000RR for the track if I find myself wanting to set the ESA to "sport" more often than not.
